NTNU HERITAGE FOUNDATION OF NORTH AMERICA

Our Brief History

For a long time, the National Taiwan Normal University (hereinafter referred to as NTNU) has “Alumni Associations” in major cities in North America, each operating to maintain friendships. Alumni hope to participate more actively in various public welfare activities and to give back to their alma mater to integrate the strength of the alumni associations. The establishment of the National Taiwan Normal University’s North American Foundation strengthens the links between alumni and alma mater, enhances alumni recognition and support for their alma mater, drives the interaction between the elder sister and the younger siblings, arouses the resonance of the teachers, and plays the social influence of the teachers.

In collaboration with the University’s North American alumni, we will promote charitable and educational programs and assist our alma mater in its excellent development, improve the overall level of teaching and research, and create a better future for the next generation.

In August 2019, several San Diego alumni began preparing to discuss the establishment of the foundation. In April 2020, the National Taiwan Normal University Heritage Foundation of North America, Inc. was approved and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
